Recommended Directions to Parking Lots
Traveling Northbound on I-35W: Continue on I-35W past downtown Minneapolis. Stay to the right and take the exit for “University Ave/4th Street” (Exit 18). Stay in the far-right lane and turn right onto University Ave and follow the event parking signs.
Traveling Southbound on I-35W: Exit at “University Ave/4th Street” (Exit 18) Stay in the far-left lane, continuing across 4th Street, and turn left onto University Ave. Follow the event parking signs.
Traveling Westbound on I-94: Exit at Huron Bldv. (Exit 235B). Stay in the left lane and take a left at Fulton St. Follow the event parking signs.
Traveling Eastbound on I-94: Exit at Huron Blvd. (Exit 235B). Immediately move into the left lane and take a left at Fulton St. Follow the event parking signs.
WILLIAMS ARENA INFORMATION
There is one ATM located on the main concourse behind Section 108 next to the woman’s restroom and University Avenue entrance.
There are three elevators located throughout Williams Arena. The first one is located behind Section 103.
A second elevator is located behind Section 105. It leads up to the lofts 1-9.
The last elevator is located behind Section 118 and it leads to lofts 10-19. To access either elevator, you must have a loft ticket. The elevator to Williams Club Room will be turned off after games to allow access for coaching staff to the media room.
Sports Pavilion Daily Entrance on the South side will be the only entry point at the Sports Pavilion for Pass Gate folks. Oak St Lobby and University Ave Lobby are ADA accessible.
The First Aid room is located in the main concourse area behind Section 103.
There are a total of 11 restrooms located throughout the entire concourse area of the arena, six women’s and five men’s restrooms. There are two women’s restrooms located behind Section 101 in the main concourse area and one located behind Sections 108 and 114. In addition, there are two more women’s restrooms located in the mid-level concourse area behind Sections 103-119, once behind Section 103 and another behind Section 119. The men’s restrooms are located behind Sections 103, 106, 111, 115, and 119.
Baby Changing Stations are also available in the men’s restrooms located behind Sections 103 and 119 and in the women’s restrooms located behind Sections 101, 108, and 114.
WILLIAMS ARENA POLICIES
Policy: All bags will be subject to search.
Prohibited items must be returned to vehicles or disposed of before entering the arena. There are no provisions to check items at the game and items abandoned outside the games will be confiscated.
Animals (except assistive animals)
Backpacks, luggage, grocery bags, duffle bags, large bags, large purses or large camera cases
Beverages, beverage containers, or liquids (cans, bottles, or boxes)
Camcorders and tripods
Cameras with lenses over six inches long
Cans, bottles, thermoses
Coolers of any kind, including small soft pack coolers
Markers (permanent) and/or paint
Objects that can be used at projectiles (sticks, bats, clubs, poles, frisbees, etc.)
Sticks or flag poles
Strollers and infant/car seats or carriers
Inspection Required – the following items will be inspected. Please note all items are subject to search by gate personnel.

*Cameras with lenses longer than 6″ are prohibited
Policy: Williams Arena is a non-smoking facility. If you leave the facility to smoke and then choose to re-enter you will not be re-admitted and must purchase another ticket.
*Smoking is prohibited in all facilities of the University of Minnesota campus.

Drop Off Area
The arranged drop off point for any guests with disabilities is located on the apron of Williams Arena/Sports Pavilion (University Avenue).
Public elevators are available at Williams Arena for guests.
Oak St Lobby and University Ave Lobby are ADA accessible.
Guests using accessible parking are encouraged to park in the University Ave Ramp on game day. For any other parking questions, please contact 612-673-8400.
Public restrooms are located along the main concourse of Williams Arena and most are ADA accessible.
