With the opportunity to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference, the Minnesota Lynx took on the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night at Target Center.
The Lynx came out firing, shooting 65 percent in the first quarter and going on to build an 11-point lead at the half. Minnesota built their lead as high as 18 in the second half before the Storm mounted their comeback, eventually pulling the score within just a single point. Lynx forward Maya Moore came up big, scoring back-to-back buckets down the stretch and keeping the Lynx in the lead. Minnesota went on to beat Seattle 73-67 and clinch the top seed in the Western Conference, setting up a first round match-up with the always tough Los Angeles Sparks.
