In a battle of the top two teams in the Western Conference, the Tulsa Shock and Minnesota Lynx faced off in Tulsa last night. The Lynx entered the game riding a three-game winning streak, due in large part to having the league’s hottest scorer in forward Maya Moore; she cooled off last night, for the first half that is. Moore, having scored 20+ points in her last six games, was held to just two points in the first half; pair that with the Shock’s seven point lead and it just didn’t seem like it would be Minnesota’s night for a win. In the second-half, Maya Moore exploded (not literally, of course) scoring 30 points and leading her team to another come-from-behind victory over Tulsa, winning 79-72. There were incredible highlights throughout the game, but here are just a few of the great photos capturing last night’s action.
