Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx Basketball Academy, presented by Mayo Clinic, announce the 2016 schedule of summer camps and clinics taking place across the Twin Cities metro. The summer schedule includes two Minnesota Lynx Clinics, featuring Seimone Augustus and Maya Moore, and two Skills Clinics featuring Ryan Saunders, son of Flip Saunders.
The summer will kick off on June 11 with two Ryan Saunders Skills Clinics. Ryan has just finished his second season as an assistant coach with the Timberwolves and spends much of his time working with guards Zach LaVine and Andrew Wiggins. He will use these clinics to challenge, motivate and provide young players with the tools to become a better player.
Next up will be two Lynx Clinics, featuring Seimone Augustus on June 15 in Edina and Maya Moore on June 16 in Maple Grove. The players will make a one-hour appearance where each participant will have the opportunity to ask questions, work on a few drills and get a photo and autograph. Each participant will also have an additional two hours of skill development and receive a ticket to an upcoming Lynx game.
The rest of the summer schedule includes 2-Day Offseason Development Camps and 4-Day Summer Camps. To view the schedule and register, visit www.timberwolvesbasketballacademy.com. Prices vary by clinic or camp. The camps and clinics are all co-ed and are open to a variety of age groups.
