It’s ‘Camp Day’ inside the Target Center on Wednesday as students from around the metro will have the opportunity to come and see the Lynx battle the 12-11 Atlanta Dream.

Minnesota will look to extend their winning streak to five while Atlanta is hoping to tally back-to-back upsets after beating the 20-3 Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday.

The Dream will also be seeking revenge against the Lynx as the last time these two squads faced each other on June 10th, Minnesota embarrassed Atlanta on their home court, 110-78.

While you prepare your lunch that you’ll eat during the game, be sure to keep these fun facts in mind regarding Wednesday’s matinee:

– The Lynx have been playing great basketball as of late and rank second in the league in points per game, assists per game and points allowed.

– Atlanta has had an up-and-down type of season and are 3-2 in their last five games. One statistical category the Dream have over Minnesota is rebounding, hauling in 36.5 boards per contest.

– Known for their tenacious defense and ability to make offense out of defense, Minnesota did a phenomenal job the last time these two teams matched up, forcing Atlanta to shoot 33.8 percent from the field.

– Two Atlanta players who’ve been performing well as of late are veteran guard Angel McCoughtry and guard Tiffany Hayes. Each of the players mentioned above is averaging more than 15 points on 42 percent shooting or better this season.
