MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The WNBA today announced that Lynx forward Maya Moore was selected to the All-WNBA First Team. The 2015 season is the third consecutive season that Moore has been named to the All-WNBA First Team, previously earning the honor in both 2013 and 2014. Moore received First Team votes on 37 of 39 ballots, finishing with 188 total points behind only Elena Delle Donne (195 total points).

Moore, the four-time All-Star was the runner-up to Delle Donne for both the 2015 WNBA MVP Award presented by Samsung and the scoring title (20.6 ppg). She also ranked second in the league in made threes per game (2.1), sixth in steals (1.64 spg), tied for eighth in assists (3.5 apg), and ninth in rebounding (6.7 rpg). Moore and the Lynx are currently tied 1-1 against Catchings and the Fever in the WNBA Finals presented by Boost Mobile, with Game 3 set for Friday, Oct. 9 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis (7 p.m. CT, ESPN2).

The Lynx (22-12) finished the regular season with the second-best overall record in the league, securing homecourt advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs. Minnesota has put together 127 regular season wins since 2011, which is the second-most-prolific five-year haul in the WNBA history (Los Angeles, 130 games from 2000-04). This season marks the fifth consecutive season the Lynx put together 20+ wins, which is the second longest such stretch in WNBA history (Los Angeles – 6, 1999-2004).
