Lynx To Face Sparks In 1st Round Of Playoffs

The 2018 WNBA regular season is over.

And with the end of the season, as Lynx fans know best, comes the playoffs.

Minnesota ended the 2018 season with an 18-16 record, seventh in the league.

In news you can’t make up, the Lynx will face off against the No. 6 Los Angeles Sparks in the first round. The Lynx and Sparks, of course, have gone up against each other in the WNBA Finals for the last three seasons. The Lynx have won two.

The one-game elimination game will be held at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday night at 9:30 p.m. CT. You can watch on ESPN2 or listen on BOB 106.1 FM.

If Minnesota wins, it will play either Connecticut or Washington in the second round, depending on who wins the Wings vs. Mercury matchup on the other side of the bracket. The WNBA playoffs re-seeds after each round.

The Lynx were 1-3 against the Sparks this season.
