Inspiring Women Series | Cumah Blake

On July 3, the Minnesota Lynx honored Lieutenant Cumah Blake as part of their Inspiring Women Platform.

The honor goes to those who inspire, motivate and encourage others through their personal and professional leadership.

Blake serves as a Judge Advocate for the Minnesota National Guard. She previously served as a Deputy General Counsel for the Office of Governor Mark Dayton and Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith.

Blake has done plenty of things throughout her career, including teaching Appellate Writing at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and serving as a panelist for many continuing legal education panels including Eliminating The Gavel Gap, Increasing Judicial Diversity In Minnesota And Diversity With Diversity, and the LGBTQ Attourney Of Color Experience.

She was presented with a team-signed ball by Vice President of Lynx Business Operations Carley Knox.
