Kelsey Mitchell, a senior guard, leads her team in scoring 24.5 points and 4.2 assists per game. Shooting 40.8% from behind the arc and 84.5% from the free throw line, Mitchell has started every game of her four-year career with Ohio State. She is the all-time leading scorer for the Ohio State women’s basketball program and has moved into second in all-time scoring in the Big Ten. She sits at third in all-time scoring in the NCAA. This season, the Ohio native has been named the Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Player, while also recording more than 3,000 career points.

PERSONAL
Mitchell is from Cincinnati, Ohio and went to Princeton High School. During her senior year, she averaged 26.1 points, 4.4 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 steals to lead her team to a state basketball title. She played for the All-Ohio Black AAU team and was a four-year honoree of the Greater Miami Conference All-Academic award. She has a twin sister, Chelsea, who also plays basketball for the Buckeyes and the girls are coached by their father Mark, an assistant coach at Ohio State.
