The Minnesota Lynx on Thursday announced the team has signed No. 1 overall draft choice Maya Moore. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Fans' first chance to see Moore and the rest of the Lynx' 2011 draft class will be on Tuesday, May 24, when they host the Indiana Fever in a preseason game at St. Paul's Concordia University. The Lynx will tip off the team's 13th season of basketball in the Twin Cities with their home opener on Sunday, June 5, when they host the Los Angeles Sparks at 2:30 p.m. CDT at Target Center.
